BROOKLYN - Police arrested a 20-year-old man Monday in connection with a deadly double shooting in Brownsville last month.

They accuse Tariq Hargrove of shooting two men on Osborn Street on July 15.

James Jeffrey, 37, and Perry Chance, 40, were standing outside 101 Osborn St. around 4 a.m. when Hargrove allegedly gunned them down, police say.

Police arrived to find both men with bullet wounds to the chest.

Hargrove has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
