BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - Family members say a young girl is showing signs of recovering after being hit by a stray bullet in Bed-Stuy.

Tayloni Mazyck was shot in the throat two weeks ago when a gunman opened fire on two men outside of her home.

Doctors say the 11-year-old girl is paralyzed from the neck down, and her paralysis may be permanent.

She will be moved to the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine later this week.
