BROOKLYN - Family members say that a young girl is showing signs of recovery after being paralyzed by a stray bullet in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Tayloni "Tutu" Maysicks, 11, was shot in the throat two weeks ago.
Her family says she is sitting up for the first time since being paralyzed from the neck down after being shot by the stray bullet.

Tutu is currently at New York Presbyterian Hospital, but will be moved later this week to NYU Rusk Rehabilitation Center to continue her recovery.
