CONEY ISLAND - TD Bank lended a helping hand to the Abe Stark hockey rink, which was badly damaged during Superstorm Sandy.

A $10,000 check, presented by hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, will help the arena replace uniforms for the non-profit team that skates there. The money will also pay for an ice skate sharpener that was destroyed during the storm.

The rink took in 4 feet of water during the storm.
