BROOKLYN - A teenager has been arrested and charged in connection to Thursday night's fatal shooting on an MTA bus in Bed-Stuy.

Police have charged the 14-year-old with second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal use of a firearm.

According to authorities, Angel Rojas, 39, was shot in the head while on his way home from work on a B15 bus at Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Lafayette Avenue Thursday. He was rushed to Woodhull Hospital and pronounced dead.

They say several shots were fired, and Rojas was not the intended target.

Rojas' distraught wife and 12-year-old son spoke with News 12, calling him the best man in the world. The family had moved to New York from the Dominican Republic just four years ago.

Rojas leaves behind his wife, son, and an 8-year-old daughter.

The suspect remains inside the 79th Precinct. He is expected to be transferred to central booking as early as today.
