BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn teenager has been arrested after being caught with an illegal gun.

Police say 17-year-old Cory McTaggart was spotted by two transit officers as he moved from one car to another on the 2 train between the Franklin Avenue and President Street stations.

The officers approached McTaggart and found he was carrying the semi-automatic handgun. He's been charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
