BROOKLYN - An 18-year-old girl who is accused in the brutal stabbing of an Egyptian immigrant in Brooklyn three years ago is scheduled to be in court today.
Alma McCants is suspected of killing 52-year-old Madgy Okley in July 2007. The victim was found stabbed multiple times and duct-taped to his chair in his Fort Hamilton home.
Police say McCants was caught after police busted a prostitution ring. She was arrested in the bust and confessed to the 3-year-old murder during her interrogation.
McCants is charged with second-degree murder, robbery and possession of a weapon.
