Teenager recovering after being shot in neck

BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn teenager is in stable condition after being shot in the neck on Stuart Street in Marine Park Saturday night.

According to police, 30-year-old Thomas Dunikowki was arrested after he opened fire on a rowdy group of kids at around midnight. Witnesses say he fired about 20 shots from his second-floor window after he had asked the teens to leave and they refused.

An off-duty EMT was near the scene and rushed to help the injured 17-year-old, who was then rushed to Kings County Hospital.

Dunikowski is facing several charges, including criminal possession of a weapon, assault and resisting arrest.
