Tenants fear their building will collapse

FLATBUSH - Investigations are under way following last week's garage collapse in Flatbush.

Tenants in neighboring buildings are concerned that the rest of the building attached to the garage is in jeopardy of falling.

A tenant complained to the Department of Buildings last night, stating that the four-story apartment building was shaking and vibrating and felt the building was going to come down.

The DOB issued a partial vacate order when the initial cave-in happened, but it is unknown if more tenants will now be asked to leave or if they plan to return today to re-inspect.
