FORT GREENE - Tenants at 71 Grand Ave. are protesting against their landlord over what they say is a lack of repairs.

Tenants say that some of the problems include the top floor apartments leaking every time it rains and that one woman?s toilet has nearly collapsed through the floor.

The building manager says he is trying to do everything they need, but Elana Shneyer, of the Pratt Area Community Council, says, ?He has come by on occasion starting some stuff, we haven't seen a consistent or a real commitment to doing the repairs.?

The Community Council says that the building is also in foreclosure.
