Third suspect arraigned in cabbie shooting

BROOKLYN - A third suspect was arraigned Friday in connection to the August 7 shooting of a Bed-Stuy cab driver.

Ivanna Pittman, charged with attempted murder, was the last of three girls wanted for the robbery and shooting of cab driver Enois Malbranche to be arraigned. The other suspects, April Pierce and Erica Belgrave, were indicted but attempted murder charges were dropped.

Prosecutors believe all three girls planned the robbery together, but Pittman?s lawyer denies the charges.

?My client yelled out? to prevent this robbery from happening,? says Pittman?s lawyer, Wilson Lafaurie.
