PARK SLOPE - Prospect Park went pink today for the 12th annual Make Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Brooklyn.

More than 30,000 people attended the walk this year, which also marked the 100th anniversary of the American Cancer Society. Among the walkers were breast cancer survivors and friends and family of those lost to cancer.

Organizers say they're hoping to raise $1 million this year for breast cancer research.
