BROOKLYN - Breast cancer survivors and supporters met at Prospect Park on Sunday in the hope of finding a cure.

Thousands came out for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.

Many attended to remember those who died of the disease, while others say the event gives them an opportunity to tell children about the cause.
