BROOKLYN - Thousands filled the streets on Fifth Avenue Saturday, celebrating the 20th Brooklyn Pride Festival in Park Slope.

Residents were able to enjoy food and spend a day in the sun.

People say the parade symbolizes not just gay pride, but the diversity and unity of Brooklyn.
