BROOKLYN - Thousands of New Yorkers spent Sunday dining out in support of a good cause.

For more than a decade, Time Out New York and the Food Bank For New York City have teamed up to fight hunger with the "Time Out For Hunger" event.

Dozens of participating restaurants will send 10 percent of Sunday's profits to the Food Bank For New York City, which assists more than a million New Yorkers.

Every dollar that's collected for the Time Out for Hunger program helps the Food Bank provide five meals for New Yorkers in need.
