BROOKLYN - The Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) has released a new training video to teach cabbies about the signs of sex trafficking.

The mandatory 10-minute film was made to comply with a recent New York City law that cracks down on cab drivers who knowingly engage in prostitution.  Under the new law, cabbies who are convicted on knowingly transporting prostitutes to appointments will be fined $10,000 and lose their license.

The Federation of Taxi Drivers says the new measure unfairly targets cabbies. The union argues that the law should apply to all businesses that transport people.
