'Touch a Truck' fundraiser event held in Park Slope to benefit P.S. 295
BROOKLYN - Children in Park Slope got to crawl, climb and explore inside borough vehicles during the "Touch a Truck" event today.
The annual event is a fundraiser run by P.S. 295, The Studio School of Arts and Culture. Kids hopped in the driver's seat of police cars, concrete mixers, garbage trucks, flatbeds and more.
They also got to dress up and learn about careers like working on an FDNY fire truck and a Con Edison bucket truck. There was even a mobile animal adoption vehicle and food trucks.
