BROOKLYN - Brooklyn residents held a town hall meeting tonight to discuss partial closures on the way for the G line.

Several stops along the line will soon be shut down for repairs stemming from Superstorm Sandy.

Transportation officials say that the train will not run between Long Island City in Queens and Nassau Avenue in Greenpoint.

The suspension is expected to last for five weeks this summer, from July 26 through Sept. 1.
