Traffic, parking take center stage at Barclays meeting

BROOKLYN - Traffic and parking concerns were the focus of a public meeting on the new Barclays Center Tuesday night.

Many residents are worried about congestion on Atlantic Avenue once the center opens in September. However, community board members and the Empire State Development Corporation say they're planning ways to minimize traffic, including a parking system with shuttle buses.

Representatives for the developer were also on hand with a presentation and to answer questions.
