BROOKLYN - A new valet service is rolling out of the Barclays Center, but it's for two-wheel rides only.

Transportation Alternatives gave free bike valet service a test run during a concert at the venue Wednesday night. The local bike and pedestrian advocacy group collected bikes and helmets, racked them for the show and returned them to trial participants after the show.

The unique service is meant to encourage people to bike to the Barclays Center, which has new racks at the corner of 6th Avenue and Dean Street. The groups say the 400 spaces sit empty at nearly every event.

Depending of the outcome of the evening's trial run, the valet service may become permanent at the Barclays Center.
