BROOKLYN - Traffic is limping back to normal after Tropical Storm Irene lashed at the East Coast.

Most airports have resumed flights in the area. Subway service in the city resumed as of 6 a.m., officials say.

Most bridges and roads are clear and tolls are being collected. However, alternate side parking is still suspended.
