Trial begins for teen charged with killing newsman

BROOKLYN - Opening statements were given today in the trial of a teenager accused of killing a radio newsman he met through a Craigslist sex ad. John Katehis is accused of stabbing 47-year-old ABC News Radio freelancer George Weber to death in Weber's Brooklyn apartment in March 2009. Katehis was 16 at the time of the killing. Prosecutors say Katehis intended to kill Weber. Lawyers for the 18-year-old say he acted in self-defense. Bail denied for George Weber's accused killer
