BROOKLYN - Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave has been released from the hospital following a shooting that injured the artist on Christmas Day.

Police say the 31-year-old rapper, whose real name is Roland Collins, was in a red Maserati when a man fired into the car, striking him once in the arm and grazing his head.

Collins was hospitalized in fair condition. No arrests have been made.

An attorney for Collins said he expected his client to be discharged Monday.

Collins is free on bail following his May arrest in connection with a fatal shooting inside Irving Plaza.

He has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder charges. He also was shot in that incident.
