BROOKLYN - Scaffolding at an above-ground F and G train station collapsed yesterday afternoon when a construction truck smashed into the work site.

FDNY officials say the scaffolding boards fell down at around 1 p.m., completely blocking off one of the station's entrances.

The MTA temporarily suspended service on the northbound F and G lines and a speed restriction was put in effect for trains moving through the station.

No injuries were reported. The wreckage at the construction site has been cleared, and the affected train service has resumed.
