BROOKLYN - Turkish and Armenian communities in Brooklyn came together Wednesday to walk as one to show unity between their countries.

The group walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and took part in performances at Brooklyn Bridge Park that included dancing and high-jumps using pogo sticks.

Organizers say the goal of the event was to have a better understanding between Turkey, Armenia and the United States.
