Two workers injured at Red Hook construction site

RED HOOK - Two workers were injured at the construction site for a future IKEA store in Red Hook Tuesday.Officials say the men were being hoisted up in a basket when the machine?s wheel slipped, causing the men to slam into a wall. Both workers were taken to the Lutheran Medical Center with scrapes, bruises and possible broken bones. They are said to be in stable condition.Officials say construction on the Beard Street store will continue as scheduled.
