BUSHWICK - A Brooklyn school is beaming after winning some prestigious recognition.

U.S. News & World Report recently ranked The Brooklyn Latin School, located on Bushwick Avenue, as the top public high school in the state.

The school's principal credits the ranking to a strong curriculum, which includes four years of Latin and college-level courses. Moreover, 100 percent of its graduates attend college.

The study also ranked the school as the 21st best public high school in the country.
