BROOKLYN - A vacant Brooklyn building has been deemed unstable after neighbors reported debris was falling off the building Monday.

Fire officials responded to 1919 6th Ave. around 8 a.m after being notified by nearby residents.

The Department of Buildings says the building will be demolished. Two neighboring families will be forced to leave their homes while the building is taken down.
