SHEEPSHEAD BAY - Members of the Varuna Boat Club are hard at work finishing repairs on the club's docks that were damaged during Sandy last year.

The club lost around seven boats during the storm and most of their docks were damaged. Today, members, including some in their 70s and 80s, are putting in new docks for the place they consider a second home.

"They show you that no matter how old you are, with a little hard work, you can get anything accomplished," said member Michael Siano.

Members say they hope to have the repairs done soon.
