According to authorities, the driver of a Nissan Pathfinder had a "medical episode" that caused him to hit five cars before careening into the walking man -- running him over and killing him. (1/10/17)

BROOKLYN - A man killed by an out-of-control SUV while crossing the street in Brooklyn has been identified.

Marlon Palacious, 43, of Brooklyn was crossing Avenue A and Linden Boulevard Monday in East Flatbush when police say he was struck by the vehicle around 4:21 p.m. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the driver of a Nissan Pathfinder fatally struck Palacious and three other vehicles before coming to a stop 

They believe the driver of the SUV may have had an episode related to a medical condition. 

Police say no charges or arrests have been made.
