BROOKLYN - One of the victims in a double shooting in Cypress Hills is talking to News 12 after being released from the hospital.

According to 20-year-old Nelson, he and a friend were approached by five men on Hegeman Avenue late Monday night.

Nelson says the men demanded that his 17-year-old friend give them his belt, and that's when they pulled out a gun and started shooting. Nelson was hit in the leg as he ran away, and his friend was hit in the abdomen.

Both victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police are now looking for the suspects, who Nelson describes as being in their late teens or early 20s.
