BROOKLYN - Community leaders in Victorian Flatbush are asking the City Landmarks Preservation Commission for a full landmarking of all of the area's homes.

Residents say landmarking the area would preserve the homes.

City Councilman Jumaane Williams says that he is hopeful that the city will pay attention to the plea and landmark all of Victorian Flatbush.

Advocates say the request would bring them one step closer to preserving country living in the city.
