BROOKLYN - The ongoing battle between Brooklyn residents and taxi drivers is heating up as a new video allegedly shows one cabbie trying to pull two passengers out of his car.

The video, released to News 12 Brooklyn by the New York Post, was taken in Manhattan on Sunday when two women attempted to take a cab from Midtown Manhattan to Bed-Stuy. Borough residents say the driver's refusal is nothing out of the ordinary for them.

The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission released a statement saying, "We have the 311 complaint for this unfortunate incident and will investigate it thoroughly and take the appropriate actions." It also says it's working with the City Council to adjust penalties for service refusal.
