BROOKLYN - Surveillance video documenting the shooting of an NYPD officer was shown during the alleged gunman's murder trial.
The video shows suspect Luis Ortiz fire at then-officer Kevin Brennan, 28, at point-blank range during an altercation back in January 2012. Brennan survived the attack and has since been promoted to sergeant.
The first clip shows Ortiz entering the apartment building, followed closely by Brennan. A struggle then ensues, culminating with Brennan lying face-down on the floor.
