BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn community gathered to remember a beloved basketball coach and mentor who passed away on Saturday. 

A candlelight vigil was held at the Farragut Houses for Jermaine Brown, who worked at Lincoln High School. 

The 34-year-old died after suffering an aneurysm earlier in the week. 

Brown also organized basketball tournaments at the Farragut Houses, a tradition that others say they plan to continue.
