Vigil held for BK woman shot and killed in Brownsville

BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn woman is being remembered today after being fatally shot in June.

Shantel Davis, 23, was killed when a detective's gun went off during a struggle.

Police say Davis took officers on a wild chase through Brooklyn in a stolen car before crashing into a minivan.

Family members say Davis was unarmed, and are demanding the detective responsible for her death be indicted. Family of woman shot by cop asks for grand jury investigation
