BROOKLYN - Family and friends of a 26-year-old man who was shot and killed in Bedford-Stuyvesant held a vigil in his honor Monday night.

The shooting occurred at 272 Kosciusko St. early Friday morning.

Police say they found Renard Griffin unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital.

His family says his brother was also shot and killed on the same street last year.

Friends and family say Griffin was an outgoing and loveable person.

Police say an investigation into the murder is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
