Vigil held for victim of Brighton Beach boardwalk shooting

BRIGHTON BEACH - As police continue to look for a second suspect in the fatal Brighton Beach boardwalk shooting, a vigil was held last night for the 16-year-old victim.

Community board representatives and local residents gathered on the boardwalk to pay their respects for the 16-year-old girl killed there last Thursday. They also called for justice, urging anyone with information to speak with police. Police say Iloune Driver, 19, was arrested this past Monday. He was arraigned on murder, assault and weapons charges, and is being held without bail. Authorities say he likely had an accomplice.19-year-old arrested in connection to Brighton Beach shootingCops: 1 killed, 4 wounded in Brighton Beach shooting
