CONEY ISLAND - Hundreds of tourists from all over the country are volunteering their time today to clean up Coney Island.

The cleanup is part of an annual give-back event for Tourism Cares, the nation's largest tourism industry volunteer group.

This year the group chose New York.

"We were originally planning to come to Coney Island anyway and after Hurricane Sandy hit, we realized that it was that much more important to come back and help out," says Chicago volunteer Kathleen Johnson.
