MIDWOOD - Thanksgiving is not only a day to spend with friends and family, but also a day to give back to those less fortunate.

Volunteers from the Brooklyn-based non-profit group Change Tomorrow Today, along with New York Cares, were in Midwood today to help the Masbia soup kitchen prepare and serve Thanksgiving dinners.

Organizers say they expected to see more than 200 residents from the community come in for a hot meal.
