The area will soon have flowers, herbs, raised garden beds and picnic tables.

Volunteers are hard at work sprucing up a section of Cypress Hills.

People from Brooklyn Nets, the Barclays Center and the Academy of Innovative Technology are together transforming an empty lot on Chestnut Street, near Jamaica Avenue, into a flourishing new garden.
