BROOKLYN - More than 100 Brooklyn residents gathered today for the second annual Prospect Park Walk-A-Thon to help raise money to support the park.

The park recently suffered severe damage cause by Hurricane Irene. Officials say more than 150 trees were damaged.

The walk-a-thon raised more than $25,000 and the Brooklyn Community Foundation has agreed to match the money raised, bringing the total to more than $50,000.
