BROOKLYN - The "Occupy Wall Street" movement has hit the one-month mark as rallies and arrests escalated around the world.

Participants launched "Occupy Brooklyn" at Grand Army Plaza on Saturday, two weeks after arrests were made during a march on the Brooklyn Bridge.

Donations have also increased as the crowds continue to grow. So far, nearly $300,000 has been given toward the cause, along with other supplies and food for protesters.
