Warehouse fire in Bushwick rages for hours

BUSHWICK - Firefighters continue to battle a 5-alarm warehouse fire this morning that broke out yesterday evening in Bushwick.

The fire broke out at Rosewood Inc.?s warehouse at 747 Evergreen Ave. just after 6 p.m. last night.

Four families have been displaced by the blaze. Those families were taken in by neighbors and have refused aid from the Red Cross.

Heavy smoke from the fire prompted a service suspension along the nearby L-line, but MTA officials say service has resumed.
