BROOKLYN - With summer on the way, residents got a preview of warmer weather as temperatures reached 80 degrees Monday.

Many residents told News 12 this is the kind of day they were waiting for all summer.

The weather is expected stay warm for the rest of the week, with rain and thunderstorms this weekend.
