BROOKLYN - Gerritsen Beach residents still dealing with the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy received a helping hand during a weekend aid fair.

We Care New York hosted the “We Care Sandy Fair,” which provided storm victims with free access to a number of recovery resources, including insurance adjustments, home evaluations and mold remediation.

The non-profit group says it's dedicated to making sure people take advantage of every resource there is as they continue to rebuild seven months later.
