Weather: Heavy rain, high winds in Brooklyn

Heavy rain, flooding and high winds are expected in Brooklyn tonight. News 12 meteorologists expect severe storms with heavy rain and lightning in the borough.

BROOKLYN - Heavy rain and high winds pounded Brooklyn Monday night as wet weather is expected to continue over the next few days.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for all five boroughs, effective through Monday at 10:30 p.m.

Scattered showers are expected overnight. Forecasters say thunderstorms will roll through Brooklyn Tuesday.
