Weather: Memorial Day weekend off to a soggy start

BROOKLYN - The weekend that marks the unofficial start to summer is off to a soggy start.

Meteorologist Samantha Augeri says today will be cloudy, windy and cool with scattered rain showers. Highs will be in the low to mid-50s.

Tonight will be breezy and chilly with rain showers eventually tapering off. Sunday morning will be mostly cloudy, but the skies will eventually give way to some afternoon sunshine with highs near 67 degrees.

Memorial Day will see mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures with highs near 76 degrees for much of the city.
