BROOKLYN - An early morning round of snow has left the borough covered in a dusting of white.
News 12 Meteorologist Mike Favetta says that the snowfall is wrapping up, leaving 2 inches of accumulation at most by noon.
Leftover snow and ice from this month's snowstorms begins to thaw out at around mid-day tomorrow with rainstorms creating a lot of flooding issues. Meteorologists say that there is 18 inches of packed snow depth across the city, which is equivalent to about 3 inches of liquid water.
Warmer temperatures will move in for the weekend, with a high of 55 degrees forecasted for Friday. The next round of bitterly cold, arctic air arrives on Monday.
