BROOKLYN - The powerful two-part nor'easter brought gusts nearing 50 mph and high seawater levels overnight, but it spared the borough from the nasty weather that hit other parts of the tristate region.

News 12 Meteorologist Stacy-Ann Gooden says there is a small dose of precipitation accumulating, including waterlogged snow. Around 1-3 inches are expected to fall overnight through daybreak Friday morning.

Everything melts away this weekend as temperatures reach into the 50s.
